Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996, at Stavanger) is a Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from both music bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. She gained some further recognition from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano that was in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to play music only for pleasure or for the sake of growing, but that she must take it seriously. So she started her own compositions. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favorite writers. Responding to her mother's advice that she ought not to aim to be famous through the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them as well as their contribution to society. She started playing piano when she was six years old and began writing music at the age of nine. The family did not have any idea until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. She claims that she just enjoys writing songs. She believes that music can help any person feel better.
