Holly is married to Danny Quinn. She first got married to the actor Danny Quinn. A year after they got married, in 1993, they divorced. Jim Carrey was her first meeting in 1994 during her audition to play Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. The actor did not offer her the part, but the two developed a relationship while working together during the production in Dumb and Dumber. They got married in the year 1996. After a short marriage, they separated in 1997. She married Francis Greco who was born Canadian. In 2008, while married to Greco she became a Canadian citizen. Their divorce took place in 2014. Holly is a mother of children with her three children in Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant and their families each created the A Fund in 1992 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as the "boy with a lot of hopes, ideas, hopes and dreams". In 1992, Holly, her father Grant and their families created the A Fund at William and Hobart Smith Colleges in memory of Alexander, who according to Holly "was a young man with desires, hopes and plans."

Alaina is born the 8th November 1994 to Kristy and J. J. Suddeth from Rossville, Georgia. Alaina's father is a Chattanooga-based technician. She began singing at the age of three. The first time she sang in public was a appearance in a child's choir as well as at the venue for karaoke on an annual family vacation. She sang at church at restaurants, in the midst of holiday weekends, and everywhere she could within a 30- mile radius. Alaina was just 8 year old when she took home the Southern Stars Pageant's Talent Competition. She was chosen to sing on the Kids Talent stage at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. Over the next few years, she performed every year on this stage until the age of 12 when the competition that allowed her to take part on the Festival's main stage taken home. She travelled to Orlando, Florida to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. She beat out more than 1,500 children in winning the contest. Alaina performed with Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Children's Choir. Aged 12, Alaina made her first of many visits to Nashville. She was a regular at Tootsie's bar, and several other bars along Broadway. in 2009 Alaina was the first winner of the WinniSTAR youth talent competition in the Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition to singing, Alaina wrote several songs such as Leaving and the song Set Me Free. Alaina the cousin of Holly Witherow who has a cancerous brain tumor, inspired her start singing. Alaina was employed at CiC's Pizza prior to her becoming a part of Idol. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School located within Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
